We travel the world, looking at the walls and hills around us the way a tailor might consider the drape of a good jacket, always searching for our next shade.
Each of our colours comes from the earth, exactly as it appears in the ground.
We didn’t have to go far to find our first shades. Our very first colours came from the Brioni family brickyard.
Since then, our explorations have taken us all across Italy and far beyond. We’ve found inspiration everywhere from the volcanic sands of Mount Etna to Kyoto’s Edo-period teahouses.

While most architectural clays are made from a light base clay mixed with pigments, each shade in the MB Terra palette is completely natural.
Over more than a decade, we’ve developed a system that brings together clay, mineral aggregates, and carefully calibrated binders to create raw earth surfaces that are beautiful, durable, and adaptable to modern life.
With this system, we’re able to craft materials that hold up even in demanding environments, while still retaining the look and feel of raw earth.
